Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS)
Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS) is an advanced surgical technique that treats spinal conditions using small incisions, specialized tools, and imaging technology, resulting in less pain, faster recovery, and minimal tissue damage.
A Laminectomy, one of the most common back surgeries, is done to relieve pressure on the spinal cord or spinal nerve roots. During this procedure, the surgeon removes a portion of one or more vertebrae, bone spurs, disk fragments and other soft tissue.

At Montesano Spine & Sport, we offer Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS) to treat spinal conditions with smaller incisions, less pain, and faster recovery. Our advanced techniques ensure minimal disruption to muscles and tissues, helping patients regain mobility quickly.
