Staying active is very important for your spine health. There are many activities that you can do to stay active and keep your spine healthy. Here’s a few:

  • Walking: It is recommended that you walk for about 30 minutes a day. Walking helps to get blood flowing through your spine which helps to bring nutrients and vitamins to your spine.
  • Swimming: Swimming helps to relieve the pressure on your spine which helps to reduce back pain.
  • Weight lifting: Lifting weights is good for your spine in moderation. Lifting weights can relieve some chronic back pain, but it isn’t recommended for those who have a spine injury.
