Pregnancy is a beautiful journey, but is not fun when you have back pain. Here are some tips and stretches to try to alleviate the pain:

  • Picking up something: When you go to pick something up, keep your knees bent and your back straight.
  • Get a massage: Getting a massage will help to relieve the tension in your back. You can also take a warm bath. Heat on your back helps to relieve tension as well.
  • Have a good mattress: It’s important to have a good mattress to support your back. It shouldn’t be too hard or too soft. You should also try and use a maternity support pillow.
