Shopping is fun, but if you have poor shopping habits, they may be causing your back pain. Here are some tips to prevent back pain while shopping:

  • Wear good footwear: Wear footwear that supports your feet. If you don’t wear the proper footwear, your feet will hurt and can lead to back pain.
  • Have good posture: Having good posture is extremely important in preventing back pain. Keep your shoulders and back straight to maintain a good posture.
  • Hold your bags in front of you: Holding your bags in front of you instead of at your sides reduces stress and strain on your arms and back. If you have a lot of bags, bring them to your car and then go back.
