Fun activities you can do while managing back pain

It can be hard to do certain activities when you have back pain such as golf and running because your spine and back are moving a lot during these activities which enhances the pain. Here are some fun activities that you can do while managing back pain:

  • Dancing: Dancing is a fun way to get your body engaged in fitness and improves your back’s mobility. Make sure that you choose gentle movement dances and not ones that will have high-impact movements.
  • Swimming: Swimming is a great exercise and fun activity to do for back pain because the buoyancy of the water helps to relieve the pressure on your back. 
  • Hiking: Going for a hike is a great way to be outdoors, look at nature, and exercise your back. You can even try using trekking poles to help support your back when hiking.
