Spring is coming soon which means it’s time to get back into our spring activities and do some spring cleaning. Here are some tips for avoiding back pain while doing spring activities:
- Take it slow: As we begin to become more active, our backs can become more prone to pain. Try to start off doing a little bit of activity and continue to increase it over time.
- Stretch before doing any activities: It’s important to stretch before doing any activities to help loosen up your muscles which helps to reduce pain and injuries.
- Listen to what your body is telling you: If your body aches or you have pain anywhere, take a break from the activity you’re doing and rest. It’s important not to overdo anything so you don’t cause more pain.
