It’s important that you exercise on a regular basis and are doing things that are actively strengthening your muscles. Doing exercises that strengthen your muscles will help to make your spine stronger which will in turn help to prevent back pain. Here are some muscle-strengthening exercises you can try:

  • Wall push-ups: Wall push-ups are a great exercise to build your upper body strength. They specifically target your chest, shoulders, and triceps.
  • Lunges: Lunges help you to improve your lower body strength and balance. They engage your quads, hamstrings, glutes, and calf muscles.
  • Planks: Planks help you to improve your core strength and promote stability. Strengthening your core helps to improve your spine health.
