The human body is about 60% water, with every cell relying on it to function. Without enough water, the discs in between our vertebrae can shrink causing pain, inflammation, discomfort, or even injury. It’s recommended that adults drink around 2 liters of water per day which will keep them hydrated while staying away from soda and opting for a refreshing glass of pure H2O!

Back and neck pain can have a variety of causes but sometimes something simple such as staying hydrated can make a world of difference. Here at Montesano Spine and Sport we focus on treating the condition as well as the underlying factors that can contribute to the pain and discomfort you feel.
