If you have back pain, sports could be a cause of it. Contact sports such as football and hockey can cause back pain. Even non-contact sports such as golfing and gymnastics due to the amount of pressure you’re putting on your lower back. 90% of all golfing injuries involve the back or neck. Some remedies for back pain for athletes are applying cold or heat to your back depending on the pain, low-level laser therapy, and medication.
