Staying active this winter will help to prevent back pain because you will be keeping your muscles loose which helps to prevent tension and pain. There are many things you can do in the winter to help prevent back pain such as ice skating, walking, yoga, and snowshoeing. Your body is more prone to gaining weight in the winter than any other season because you aren’t moving your body as much. This excess weight can put pressure on your back and cause pain. Staying active will not only help to prevent this from happening, but will be beneficial for your overall health.
