Eating a healthy diet is extremely important for your body, but especially for your spine. Eating an unhealthy diet can lead to excess weight gain which can put pressure on your spine and cause pain. Here are some foods you should eat that can strengthen your spine:

  • Dark leafy greens: Vegetables such as kale and spinach are rich in antioxidants which help to fight inflammation and improve your overall health.
  • Avocados: Avocados contain healthy fats and vitamin K which are vital for bone health. Avocados also contain potassium which helps to maintain proper muscle function.
  • Dairy products: Milk and cheese contain calcium and vitamin D which are needed for good bone health and your spine.
